Cambridge, ON – Cambridge and North Dumfries MP, Minister Gary Goodyear, joined with staff, volunteers and supporters from the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank, in kicking off their 17th annual Stuff a Bus food drive campaign.
“For many Cambridge and North Dumfries families, a happy holiday is made possible because of the unwavering dedication and tireless efforts of the leadership, staff and volunteers from the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank” said Goodyear, who contributed in helping stuff a bus with two bags of non-perishable food.
During the Stuff a Bus kick off, Goodyear also acknowledged local-area firefighters who generously give their time to ensure the program is a success “these brave men and women – who work to protect and care for residents each day – use the donations received and help prepare and distribute food hampers to those in need”.
