Minister Gary Goodyear, Member of Parliament for Cambridge-North Dumfries, issued the following statement regarding Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada.

“On behalf of the people of Cambridge-North Dumfries, I want to congratulate Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada and the entire team from the Cambridge South Plant, for earning the J.D. Power and Associates Platinum Plant Quality award.

“Toyota is a staple of our community.  Its plants provide jobs for residents, support our local economy and have other immeasurable economic benefits.

“With this award comes global recognition that Toyota Cambridge South Plant is now the world’s highest quality auto operation. 

“It also validates Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada as having some of the most dedicated, professional and committed employees in the auto industry.

“By achieving this, the local Toyota team has not only strengthened the company’s international reputation but Cambridge’s as well”, said Minister Goodyear.
