On Friday, May 15 2009, Member of Parliament (Cambridge-North Dumfries) & Minister of State (Science & Technology) Gary Goodyear had his hair cut by “Danny the Barber” to promote an upcoming fundraiser supporting Argus Residence for Young People.

On Saturday May 30th, 2009, “Danny the Barber” will donate 100% of sales in support Argus Residence for Young People. Agency representatives will be on site all day to raise awareness of issues surrounding local youth homelessness.

Argus Residence for Young People provides emergency shelter to youth experiencing homelessness in our community. The agency operates two 24-hour shelter locations; a 10-bed shelter for young women and a 10-bed shelter for young men. In addition to food, shelter and 24-hour staff support, Argus provides comprehensive programming and supports which work to mobilize youth toward healthy and viable community integration.
