
| | MP Gary Goodyear’s Office to Host Passport Clinic

Member of Parliament, the Honourable Gary Goodyear will host a passport clinic this week to assist constituents in applying for their passports. The clinic will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2009, at 10:00am until 2:00pm. It will take place at 1425 Bishop St. N, Unit 3. “The annual passport clinic is an excellent opportunity for constituents to receive some assistance in what may appear to be a sometimes confusing process,” said Goodyear. “I hope that many residents from Cambridge will take advantage of this occasion and benefit from the expertise of my staff.” When applying for a passport, you must submit an original proof of citizenship in the form of a birth certificate or a certificate of citizenship, supporting identification with your current name and signature such as a driver’s license and two identical photographs taken within the last 12 months. You must also remember to have your guarantor sign your passport application, a copy of your supporting identification and one of your photos. Under the current policy, an eligible guarantor must:
Please note that the passport clinic on Saturday, January 24 will not be issuing passports, only helping with the application process and if requested, submitting applications on behalf of constituents.
