Canada Day Celebrations A Success
July 17, 2008
The beginning of this month marked a special occasion for all Canadians, as our country marked its 141st birthday. As always, Cambridge and surrounding area took part in the fun-filled festivities. As the weather cooperated throughout the day, the Canada Day parade, part of Cambridge’s 34th annual July 1st celebrations, went off without a hitch. Marshaled by local community member Done Katsoroy (Danny the Barber), this year’s crowd was entertained by over 100 entries, including an overhead fly-by from the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association, and a parade entry from yours truly Gary Goodyear, M.P. |
