
| | Minister Goodyear launches on-line consultations on phase of Canada's Economic Action Plan

(Cambridge, ON) - The Government of Canada has launched national consultations to give Canadians the opportunity to voice their views on how to best lead Canada to full economic recovery as the Government prepares its 2010 budget – the second phase of Canada's Economic Action Plan. Today, Cambridge and North-Dumfries Member of Parliament, the Hon. Gary Goodyear launched his own pre-budgetary consultations. “While our nation has witnessed some indications of a recovery, this government is committed to staying the course in order to come out of the global recession with a stronger economy,” said Minister Goodyear. “I would like to hear from Cambridge and North Dumfries residents on their views on keeping our economy on track towards a stronger economic future.” As part of his effort to listen to constituents, Minister Goodyear will be conducting on-line consultations. The Government of Canada will be seeking thoughts on a number of questions including:
